The $473 million jackpot was won by one ticket in the Arizona Lottery’s Powerball drawing on Wednesday night. According to lottery officials, it’s the state’s highest jackpot ever won on a single ticket.
The winner will have the option of a lump-sum payment of $283.3 million or a $473.1 million annuity paid in 30 payments over 29 years.
A Quik Trip convenience shop near Gilbert, Arizona sold the winning ticket.
The winning numbers in the Powerball drawing on Wednesday night were 11, 36, 61, 62, and 68, with the Powerball number 4 as the bonus ball.
